Mali 0 2 Nigeria U 17 World Cup Final Highlights 2015

Mali’s dream of lifting a first ever Fifa U17 World Cup faded in thin air in Viña del Mar as they crumbled 2-0 to Nigeria at the Estadio Sausalito. 

Second half strikes from Victor Osimhen and Funsho Bamgboye were all the Eaglets needed to become world champions for a record fifth time, and the second country to successfully defend their title after Brazil. 

The tournament's outstanding team failed to repeat the fluency and genius of their 3-1 semi-final romp against Mexico, but Emmanuel Amuneke’s team found two more sumptuous moment during the second half of game. 

Golden Eaglets beat Brazil 3-0

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglet got a step closer to their pursuit for a fifth FIFA U-17 World Cup title as they walloped their Brazilian counterparts 3-0 to advance to the semi finals.

After a 2-1 defeat against Croatia in the last group game, the Golden Eaglets bounced back to winning ways to trounce Australia 6-0 in their second round game with top scorer of the tournament  Victor Osimhen netting a treble.

Brazil scraped through its last 16 clash against New Zealand and had to improve to beat the Eaglets.

However, goals in the space of five minutes from top scorer Osimhen, Michael and Anumudu was enough for Nigeria to ease past through to the semis.
