What Would You Do if a Car Wash Attendant Crashed Your Jeep into a Wall?

This is the question one man in Abuja had to ask himself when this happened to him.

According to online reports, the owner of the jeep parked it at a car wash to be cleaned.

Shortly after he left, the men who worked at the car wash reportedly heard that some FCT environmental taskforce personnel were heading to their location. One of the men is said to have panicked and jumped into the vehicle in an attempt to escape the premises.

Apparently, the man didn’t have much experience driving and shortly after going a short distance, he lost control of the car and subsequently crashed into a wall.

Buhari’s Cabinet: Joda Committee Recommends 19 Senior Ministers, 17 Ministers Of State

Amid growing public concern over the structure and membership of the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari, indications have emerged that the President may operate with just 19 ministries.

The Ahmed Joda-led Transition Committee has recommended a “small government” which entails pruning the number of ministers from 42 to 19, The Cable newspaper reported Friday, quoting the 800-page document submitted by the committee.

Mr. Joda submitted the report to Mr. Buhari last Friday.

Security Operatives Block Nigeria Nass Gates, Stop Entrance By Staff, Press and Others

Members of staff of the National Assembly, members of the press and other people have been asked to return to their houses by security operatives manning the gates of the National Assembly. 

Many people got to the National Assembly as early as 6 am but even lawmakers and top management staff of the National Assembly were also turned back. The police operatives at the gate popularly referred to as SGF gate, which many people turned to after they were blocked from the main gate, told people gathered that the inauguration has been called off. 

According to them, the order to shut down the assembly came from the FCT commissioner.
