Britain's first 1Million Pound council Flats.

A pair of two-bedroom former council flats have been placed in to the real estate market for more than 1 Million pound each in London.

More Pictures below

Pricey: The two-bedroom apartments (circled) were formerly owned by the council but are now on the market for more than £1million

Modern: The near-identical apartments in South Kensington are marketed as being in 'a highly sought-after location which hosts an array of local amenities as well as upmarket shops, bars and restaurants'

Novel: The most expensive ex-council house – rather than flat – ever sold is thought to be two adjoining properties in south London, which fetched a joint price of £2.96million at auction in October 2013

The second bedroom in the £1million flat has been decked out in almost identical furnishings to the next door flat, owned by the same person

The view from the front doors looks out over Fulham Road, in an exclusive part of London. Both flats have been kitted out with the same look

Keppel House, where the two former council flats are situated, is close to Knightsbridge and the Victoria and Albert Museum
