Donald Trump calls for 'complete ban' on Muslims entering US

Donald Trump on Monday called for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States," an idea swiftly condemned by his rival candidates for president and other Republicans.
The proposed ban would apply to immigrants and visitors alike, a sweeping prohibition affecting all adherents of Islam who want to come to the U.S.

Trump's campaign said in a statement such a ban should stand "until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on." It said the proposal comes in response to a level of hatred among "large segments of the Muslim population" toward Americans.

Find new ways to tackle insurgency-Babangida tells Buhari

Former Military President Ibrahim Babangida has asked President Buhari to find new ways to fight insurgency in Nigeria. Babangida gave the charge in his Sallah message to Nigeria. He said the blood letting in the last four weeks has been alarming but that he is however confident that President Buhari will "put the final nail in the coffin of Boko Haram". Full text of his sallah message after the cut..

Let me convey my warm wishes to all Muslims home and abroad for the successful completion of the Ramadan exercise. As much as one would have appreciated our efforts as devout Muslims who have observed the obligatory month of Ramadan, the incessant killings and bloodlettings by members of the Boko Haram leave a sour taste in my mouth.

For want of no discernible ideology, they have continued to portray Islam in very bad light, making members of other religions to perceive us with scorn. Islam, which I was born into, some 74 years ago, is a very peaceful religion that preaches brotherliness and togetherness. It is a religion that encourages love, affection and respect for our neighbours and mankind. It is one religion that has an abiding influence on its adherents to cooperate with one another and promote peace in their respective communities. May God touch the hearts of these insurgents so that the untoward act of bloodletting will permanently cease. Happy eid-el-fitri to all.

One of their acient way of life that would even amaze most Libra western people is that, their women are allowed to have MULTIPLE sex partners outside of marriage, they also keep all their property on divorce and are so revered by their sons-in-law that the young men wouldn't dare eat in the same room.

What You Need To Know About Ramadan And Your Health.

Image result wey dey for ramadan and your health

Fasting during the month of Ramadan can be good for your health if it’s done correctly.

When the body is starved of food, it starts to burn fat so that it can make energy. This can lead to weight loss. However, if you fast for too long your body will eventually start breaking down muscle protein for energy, which is unhealthy.

Dr Razeen Mahroof, an anaesthetist from Oxford, says there's a strong relationship between diet and health.

“Ramadan isn’t always thought of as being an opportunity to lose weight because the spiritual aspect is emphasised more generally than the health aspect," he says. "However, it’s a great chance to get the physical benefits as well.”

Ex-President Jonathan's Message & Wishes To Muslims

As we enter into the holy month of Ramadan, I wish the Muslim Ummah a successful fast. I enjoin all Nigerians to join our brothers and sisters of the Islamic faith in prayers for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria. This is a time to also reflect on the virtues taught by prophet Mohammed (SAW) which virtues include concern for the less privileged in society, increased offering of salat and introspection for the purpose of character development. God bless the Muslim Ummah and may God bless Nigeria. Ramadan Kareem. GEJ.
