Killer Who Beat 75-year-old Auto Repair Shop Owner To Death To Be Executed In Texas On Thursday

Gregory Russeau is to be executed on Today Thursday 18th 2015 for killing a 75 year-old Auto Repair Shop Owner.

He beat the car-repair shop owner James Syvertson to death in 2001, leaving his bloody body to be found by his family, Meanwhile, He  denied being responsible for the murder, alleging that police planted one of his hairs at the crime scene, however, a Texas jury found him guilty and he was sentenced to death.

Read More Below...His execution will be the ninth performed by the state in 2015, with four more planned before the end of the year.

Unless any last-minute appeals are successful, he will be put to death sometime after 6pm central time with a lethal dose of pentobarbital. 

His Syvertson's Daughter, Jeanette Deason, told NBC News: 'I don't care to see that. They drag it on forever- it's ridiculous. But I'm not jumping up and down that he's gonna die.' She added: 'It totally devastated the family, tore everyone apart. 'He (Mr Syvertson) was always smiling, always trying to help people. He wasn't perfect but he was loved.'
