Police Have Release A CCTV Images Of The Gunman That Committed The Crime At South Carolina Church

The white gunman who shot dead NINE people in mass shooting at historic black church in Carolina before sparing on woman and telling her, 'tell the world what happened'

The  Police have release a CCTV images of the gunman that committed the crime in Emmanuel AME Church in charleston, south Carolina around 9pm Wednesday, killing nine people - three male victims and six females.

The suspect was pictured leaving the church in a black four door sedan which has a distinctive license plate, and police and believe he is still in the Charleston area 

Graciously, a five year old girl survived the attack after her grandmother told her to play dead when the shooter started firing.

The gunman was reported to have been on the church premises for a meeting and also waited for about an hour in the study meeting before opening fire according to the police officer Gregory Mullen during the press conference on Thursday June 18th 2015.

Killed: A gunman opened fire at the historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal church in Charleston, South Carolina Wednesday night, killing nine people, and reports say a bomb threat was called in just hours later 

Shooting: Police responded to the shooting around 9pm at the 150-year-old church and Charleston police chief Gregory Mullen said he believes the shooting was a hate crime

Bomb Threat: Just hours after the shooting, as a heavy police presence remained in the area, a bomb threat was called in to the scene, later Mullen said the threat had rescinded

Meanwhile, the church members remain resolute in serving the Lord in spirit and in truth. They were seeing holding hands and praying near the site of the mass shooting.

Unspeakable: Charleston Mayor Joseph Riley (right) described the incident as an 'unspeakable tragedy' and said that the city will catch 'this awful person and bring him to justice as soon as possible'

Statement: South Carolina issued this statement describing the shooting as a 'senseless tragedy' and saying she and others will 'never understand what motivates anyone to enter one of our places of worship and take the life of another' 

Police close off a section of the street leading to the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston. The church has been at the centre of tense race relations in the state
